Selections from the University of Pennsylvania Bulletin, 1914-1981.

The collection comprises materials published in University of Pennsylvania catalogs (dated from 1914 to 1981), which had been assembled and kept in the administrative offices of the School. The entire annual University catalog is found in the collection from 1914 to 1919. After that date only the catalogs of the School of Fine Arts and Graduate School of Fine Arts are found in the collection. The earliest materials in the collection are dated 1914-1915, published in 1915. The latest materials are dated 1980-1981, published late in 1979. Two of the early catalogs are signed by Warren Powers Laird, first Dean of the School of Architecture. An additional bound volume assembled in 1928-1929 contains materials related to the organization of the newly established School of Fine Arts together with a set of the School's "Announcement" for the first five years.
